TGI Friday’s Chicken Fingers and Club Sandwich Review

Food Review: TGI Friday’s Chicken Finger and Chicken Club Sandwich

After a long walk at SM Mall of Asia, located at Seaside Blvd, Pasay City, Philippines, me and my food buddy decided to eat our afternoon snack at TGI Fridays. Since they don’t have a branch at our hometown here in Quezon Province and we want to try something new. Upon entering the restaurant, the friendly servers greeted us politely and accompanied us to our seat like we are an important customer. Well, I guess, every customer at the place are treated equally.

The server handed us the Menu and we have picked “Chicken Fingers” and “Chicken Club Sandwich” as our snack. We also ordered Strawberry and Chocolate Milk Shake as our drinks. The foods at TGI Fridays is a little pricey. But since we are already inside, there is no turning back. LOL.

Chicken Fingers costs us a whooping P345. Their food servings is bigger than we think. Just to evaluate, the chicken is tender, golden fried and served with crispy seasoned fries. It was also served with honey mustard dressing for dipping and I have already forgot the other dip which is actually not my type. All their food is actually overwhelming, oily and salty. It is very tasty. And when I said very tasty, it means super duper tasty and flavorful. Oh God! Calories overload. If you are on a diet, you should not attempt visiting TGI Fridays.

Next on the list is the “Chicken Club Sandwich” that costs P425. It has layers of ham, grilled chicken breast, with american cheese I guess and a crispy bacon piled between three slices of white bread with fresh lettuce, tomato and mayonnaise. This sandwich is mouth watering and also overwhelming because of the big serving. It also has cripsy seasoned fries. I was really shocked and was not able to fully consumed all the food.

On our stay at TGI Firdays, the only food I only enjoyed is their Chocolate and Strawberry Milk Shakes which costs P180 each. I do not have a sweet tooth but I felt a little relief with their Milk Shakes to combat the oily high calorie overloaded foods served to us at TGI Fridays. Their foods actually gave me a heavy feeling after we have finished eating.

Considering the expensive price we have paid for the foods we ate. I may say that I am not fully satisfied and happy on my dining experience at TGI Fridays. The foods are pricey and maybe I am not into those kind of food. Maybe we had a wrong choice of foods to order I guess. Or should I say, we have made a wrong choice of restaurant to try.
