Pueblo Por La Playa Review
Pueblo Por La Playa Review
Located at Brgy. Bantigue in Pagbilao, Quezon Province, Philippines
I am browsing my pictures on my laptop and I happened to see my Pueblo por la Playa escapade with my highschool friends. While reminiscing this past experience, I have decided to write a post about this relaxing place. It was April 2013 when me and my high school friends came to visit Pueblo por la Playa.
The site is an exclusive resort. Only members can enter and use the place. Luckily, one of our friends is a member of the resort so we are granted to come in. And because she is not with us at the time of our visit. We have to present a letter with her signature allowing us to enter the place. If I am not mistaken, we have paid Php 550.00 per head for the day tour rate and use of amenities such as pool and rest rooms. Take note, towels are not included.
We arrived at the place at about 3pm. Upon arrival, the security guard immediately checked our bags and ask our sponsor. We also handed him the authorization letter from our friend. Then we sign a logbook recording our visit to the place. After a while, we are instructed to ride a private jeepney-type like vehicle to bring us inside the resort. Please note that your private vehicles will be left at the resort’s parking area located at the main gate.
On your way to the visitor’s entrance lobby, you will see Mexican styled villas and suites with vivid colors. Too bad, I did not get a chance to experience those villas since we only went there to swim, relax and enjoy the view of the beach.
After we have reached the lobby, we proceeded on their pool area, from there you will see their popular and cozy “Infinity Pool”. It is indeed a relaxing place to stay. Just so you know, they don’t allow to bring food inside. So whenever you feel hungry, they have a cafe and a snack bar in front of the beach to satisfy your hunger. Well, since you don’t have a choice, you will find yourself buying their food even it is very expensive. And to add, their food servings are not bountiful. So please don’t expect too much. And from the snack bar, we ordered Pizza and Carbonara. In fairness to their food, it is delicious. But nothing is special to be noted.
In addition, they also have a kiddie pool. Well, the size of the pool is not just for kids. It is actually bigger than the Infinity Pool. We actually used it. LOL.
Just to share, the place is also good in capturing your pre-nup moments. You can also use the place for your beach wedding. Actually, there is a couple doing their pre-nup moments when we visited the place. However, you need have a member sponsor to be able to do that.
What can I say about the place? Hmmm… To tell you the truth, Pueblo por la Playa is pure and innocent at that time. In other words, it is clean. It is obviously a white sand beach, but if you dug dipper on the sand, you will see a mud like gray sand. It is also advisable to walk with slippers at the beach because the sand is not fine. They are actually not strict when it comes to your swimming outfit. It is a good thing for me.
At night, I may say that the place is not well lighted at that time, especially on the pool and beach area. But still, this can be one of the best place for you to stay if you want to be in a quiet place and be alone.
After your relaxing experience, you need to freshen up using their comfort room. The design of their comfort room is cute and captivating. It is also clean at that time.
So my Pueblo por la Playa experience came to an end. By 9pm, we were picked-up by the same vehicle I have mentioned earlier for us to leave the place. Oh! Before I forgot, you can also do snorkeling, spa, scuba diving, team building/sports activities and kayaking at Pueblo por la Playa.
