Kojie San Soap Review
Kojie San Soap Review
It was roughly a month since my last post. Oh Gosh! 2017 is a very busy year for me. I almost forgot that I am a blogger. LOL. Well, anyways. This post is all about my experience in using Kojie San Soap. I am actually not a fan of whitening or lightening soaps because whitening is not my priority. But because of several emails way back years ago requesting me to review this. And because I always see this product in every supermarkets here in the Philippines. I decided to try it. As the label says, the main ingredient of this soap is Kojic Acid. I don’t know if this is a product of Japan owing to the fact that it looks like one but the packaging says that it is made in the Philippines distributed by BEVI Beauty Elements Ventures Inc.
As of this writing, I have already consumed two (2) Kojie San Soap bars. So without further ado, here is my review about Kojie San Soap.
What “I LIKE” about Kojie San Skin Lightening Soap?
1: It is affordable, costs only P50.00 for two (2) 65 gram soap bars.
2: Accessible here in the Philippines. I think this bar soap is available in popular supermarkets here in the Philippines. I bought mine at SM supermarket.
3: I love the sweet smelling scent. It soothes me. I feel refreshed after using it because of the smell.
4: It is cold pressed. Does not easily melt. One (1) bar soap lasts about 1.5 weeks if used 2 times a day.
5: Did not cause me severe allergic reaction. All negative reactions are tolerable.
6: Did not overdry my skin unlike other whitening soaps. Which is a plus for me.
What “I DON’T LIKE” about Kojie San Skin Lightening Soap?
1: On my first few days of use, I felt a slight tingling sensation in my underarms and some sensitive areas. However, no redness or rashes developed.
2: I am not sure if it is an effective whitening soap because I did not see significant changes.
3: Like other Kojic Acid Soaps, it also leaves orange stains on my bathtub if not properly cleansed or wash out.
4: I did not use this on my face. So I won’t be recommending to be used on face. Please love your face, use a decent facial wash.
Would I recommend Kojie San Skin Lightening Soap?
If you are looking for a whitening soap product that is not that harsh on the skin. You can try using Kojie San Soap. Again, I am not sure if this is an effective whitening soap but I guess, a long term use will determine its whitening capability. I have only used this soap for less than a month. I may say that I am not a fan of this soap but I didn’t hate this that much unlike Belo Kojic + Tranexamic Acid Soap. However, this soap is worth a try. It is cheap in the first place, and you are lucky if your skin will be a perfect match for this.
