Balai Loreta Beach Resort Review
Balai Loreta Beach Resort Review
If you are looking for a weekend getaway near Quezon Province, Balai Loreta Beach Resort may be one of the option you may consider. The resort is located at Brgy. Talaan, Sariaya Quezon, a semi-remote area, where you can experience privacy and peace of mind away from the stress in the city life.
Why I have chosen Balai Loreta Beach Resort?
I am currently residing at Lucena City, so this resort is just nearby my place. Some of my friends have already experienced the place and they recommended it. The room rates are quite cheap as compared to other resorts in Brgy. Talaan, Sariaya Quezon. Plus, you can “Waze” your way to this place using a private vehicle. So, without further ado, here is my honest review about the place and their service.
Photo and Video Compilation for Balai Loreta Beach Resort:
What’s in the video? The complete scenery of the resort, including the room and comfort room we used on our stay at Balai Loreta Beach Resort.
What “I LIKE” about Balai Loreta Beach Resort?
1: The resort is indeed very relaxing. My favorite part of the place is the 2nd floor of “La Playa Cecilia” where you can view the complete scenery of the beach.
2: No downpayment to reserve room. All you have to do is call and reserve at their facebook page.
3: No corkage fee and entrance fee. You can use their kitchen for cooking. Free use of refrigerator, utensils and other cookingwares.
4: Free use of common areas like “La Playa Cecilia” and “Comedor Ricardo” for big groups.
5: Pet-friendly, small breed and leash trained.
6: Loud noises are prohibited inside the resort as courtesy to other visitors. However, I have read that you can rent the whole place and do your lively activities there.
7: Rich supply of clean water for shower. As in very rich supply like oozing water falls. 2 thumbs up!
8: You have 2 options for your swimming activities, pool and beach.
9: Staffs are friendly. They will make you feel that you are one of the co-owner of the resort. Allowing you to do what you like without inhibitions.
What “I DON’T LIKE” about Balai Loreta Beach Resort?
1: No FREE Wifi. Poor mobile signal in the resort’s vicinity. But still, I am able to connect online with my mobile data.
2: No TV. But its not a big deal for me. I did not visit the place to watch TV.
3: No Foods to Order inside the resort. There is a “bring and cook your own meal policy” at the resort. However, they told us that we can order foods at the sari sari stores situated just outside the resort’s entrance.
4: The pool is only 2 feet (children) and 4 feet (adult) deep.
5: No security guard. So I felt a little unsecured when the dark falls. We only met 3 regular staff there. 2 females and 1 male. Headed by Ms. Maureen.
6: You can only swim at the beach til 6pm, then til 12mn at the pool.
7: The beach is not that maintained. You can find some trash on it.
8: The beach has dark brown fine sand. Not white sand.
9: No hot and cold shower.
Conclusions and Recommendations:
We are very lucky that we had our visit at Balai Loreta without other visitors. It feels like we have rented a private resort. And base on our stay, I would rate the resort with 8/10. The place is very relaxing. However, the feeling of security is a top priority for some travelers like me. That’s the reason why I can’t give a perfect 10. Value for money? A Big Yes! P1,500 for an OFF-Peak season overnight stay at the cheapest air-conditioned room called Tercera Cabana at Balai Loreta is a real fair deal. If I will be asked, I will definitely come back in this place if I need a place to relax and rest.
